Railways' warning

By Our Special Correspondent

MUMBAI NOV. 19 . The Railway Ministry has threatened to shift its recruitment office from Mumbai to elsewhere, even outside Maharashtra, if the State Government cannot provide protection to the examination centres.

A Ministry official contacted the DGP, S.M. Shingare, and the Chief Secretary, Ajit Nimbalkar, today to convey the Railways' concern about Tuesday's attack on the Railway Recruitment Board office by the students' wing of the Shiv Sena in protest against holding exams for candidates from other States.
