Letters to the Editor
Sir, This refers to the deposition of the victims of the 2002 Naroda-Patiya massacre before the Nanavati-Shah inquiry commission (Aug. 29). The horrifying description of their suffering, and the connivance of the police with frenzied saffron mob are shocking. It is strange that Narendra Modi, who justified the carnage by citing Newton's law of action and reaction, should continue to preside over the fate of the victims.
S. Kuppuswamy,
