Letters to the Editor
Sir, Your editorial "Behind the terrorist strikes" ( Aug. 26 ) was biased. You seem to be kindling the non-existent hate feelings of the minorities. Tit for tat acts of terrorism, counter-terrorism and cyclic terrorism should all be condemned by all right-thinking people.
K.S. Lakshminarayanan,
Sir, Any attempt to look for reasons other than religion-based terrorism behind the Mumbai blasts will not serve anyone's interests. The line of thinking in your columns as also your editorial may need a review as jehadi terrorism pre-dates the Babri Masjid demolition and the Gujarat pogrom. That hate begets hate is true but jehadi terrorism has more dangerous roots steeped deep in obscurantism.
T.S. Rao,
