Khusroo dead

New Delhi Aug. 24. Former Chairman of the Finance Commission, A. M. Khusroo, died at a hospital here tonight, family sources said. He was 78.

Mr. Khusroo, who was also a former Vice-Chancellor of the Aligarh Muslim University and a former Member of the Planning Commission, had undergone a heart surgery on August 7. He is survived by a son and a daughter.
