Kalam shocked

NEW DELHI JUNE 24. The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has expressed deep shock and grief over the train accident in Sindhudurg in Maharashtra in which nearly 30 people were killed and many injured.

In a message, the President has conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a speedy recovery. He also directed the Railway Minister to provide all possible assistance to those affected by the accident.
