Today Dr. Reddy covered about 9 km in the morning session, touching the villages of Burugupudi, Dasakayalapalli and Nandarada. Dr. Reddy was followed by hundreds of enthusiastic workers and leaders that included the local MLA, Jakkampudi Ramamohana Rao. The deputy leader of the CLP, J.C. Diwakara Reddy, also joined the padayatra. In all villages as also along the route, Dr. Reddy was accorded a tumultuous welcome. He spoke briefly at Dosakayalapalli and also heard the grievances of the people who had gathered there. Bikkina Krishnarjuna Choudary, a senior Congress leader and one of the doctors who has been monitoring Dr. Reddy's health, said he had checked him after completion of the walk and "Dr. Reddy is normal and his BP is stable.''
