Run to wish Indian team

More than 100 sportspersons and students, under the banner of the Communist Party of India (Marxist)-led Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), took part in a run in Vijayawada on Tuesday to wish victory for Indian cricket team.

The highlight of the run between the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium and the Sundaraiah Bhavan on the arterial Mahatma Gandhi Road was the display of a 20-ft bat.
