New post for Navy chief

New Delhi Dec. 24. The Navy chief, Admiral Madhvendra Singh, will be the new chairman of the Chiefs of Staff Committee, it was officially announced.

Admiral Singh will take up his new assignment on December 31 following retirement of the Army Chief, S. Padmanabhan.
