Protest against `irregularities' in selection of candidates

Pondicherry Dec. 3. A group of candidates, who appeared for the written test for recruitment to the post of Attendants in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Welfare but could not emerge successful, alleged that there were irregularities in the modalities adopted for selection of the candidates. They also staged a road roko near the bus terminal.

In all 3073 candidates took the written test on Sunday last and 33 candidates were selected at the end of the examination.
