Jammu & Kashmir
By Shujaat Bukhari
During his stay, he will meet the Governor, G.C. Saxena, the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the Army authorities and senior officials. He will also tour the forward areas in Kashmir and take stock of the situation along the Line of Control. He is also visiting the Raghunath Temple in Jammu that was recently attacked by terrorists for the second time. However, it is not clear whether he will meet the leaders of the Hurriyat Conference and other separatist outfits. This is Mr. Blackwill's maiden visit to the State. His earlier visit, scheduled for November 15, was put off as his special U.S. Air Force plane had developed a snag.
