For those who cannot cope with academic studies, there are plans to revive training units in various skills. Many of the old boys who return for a nostalgic visit, have their own industrial and businesses today. They express their warm feelings for the institution, which fed, clothed, and educated them and turned them into "somebody" in this world. On Sunday evening, a meeting will be held at the orphanage to start an Old Boys' Association and past inmates have been invited. At present, the orphanage houses 210 boys and all are treated equally. But the Director, Fr. Stany Viegas, says there are some comforts that are lacking. For example, hot bath water for the boys, some of whom were barely four. Funds are needed to install a solar water heater and other facilities. Those who want to help can call 5471259 or 5470369.
