While "CeBIT 2003 Hannover" will be held from March 12 to 19, the "Hannover Industry Fair" will be from April 7 to 12.
Wolfgang Pech, Director, Deutsche Messe AG, told presspersons here today that the "CeBT" fair would once more be a powerhouse of support for the ICT industry and also for professionals in search of new markets.
Mr. Pech said the "CeBIT" fair was designed to focus not only on technological trends but also on business strategies. It would offer more sales potential and greater cross section of products and services from all the continents than any other event. It would also display a large array of group pavilions and special presentations.
Mr. Pech, who is also Managing Director of Hannover Industry Fair, said the industry fair would attract 6,950 companies. It had been traditionally an important export platform for Indian engineering industries. Over 60 Indian companies would participate in the fair and showcase a wide range of products, including castings, forgings, and components, he added.
Details can be had from S.J. Patil, representative for Hannover Fairs, Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, Mumbai.
