Geelani's bail plea rejected

NEW DELHI NOV. 13. A Delhi court today rejected the bail plea of the Kashmir Times journalist, Iftikar Geelani, who was arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi police on June 10 on charges of violation of the Official Secrets Act.

``Keeping in view the larger interest of the public and the State and all surrounding circumstances, there is hardly any justification for grant of bail,'' the Chief Metroplitan Magistrate (CMM), Sangita Dhingra Sehgal, said in her order.
