Cong relief measure

The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee will distribute one lakh bread loaves to the rain-affected areas on November 14 coinciding with the Children's Day celebrations.

In a statement today, the Congress MLA, S.G. Vinayakamoorthi, who is also the party's flood relief committee chairman, said the party had adopted November 14 as `public grievance alleviation day' in the wake of havoc caused by rain in the city and its suburbs.
