Attains samadhi

TIRUCHI NOV. 8. The Peetatheeswarar of Sringeri Nilamau Mutt in Karnataka, Narayanananda Bharathi, attained samadhi here today. He was in a state of coma for some months now.

The mortal remains of Narayanananda Bharathi, enthroned as Peetatheeswarar by the Sringeri Sankaracharya Bharathi Teertha in 1986, would be kept on his Srirangam Ashram premises before being shifted to the Adhishtanam at Mahadanapuram in Karur district for internment on Saturday.
