Andhra Bank cuts housing loan rates

MUMBAI OCT. 8. Andhra Bank has slashed the interest rates for housing loans by 2 per cent to 9.25 per cent till November 15 with a special incentive of 50 basis points for regular payments. As against the 11.25 per cent interest, now the floating rate would be 9.25 per cent for loans repayable in less than three years during the campaign period, which commenced on October 4, Andhra Bank general manager, Mumbai Zone, S. P. Ghosh, told newspersons here today.
