Medical/agricultural counselling begins

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Aug. 12. The counselling for admission to medical/agricultural courses commenced today, with 778 candidates getting allotment. As many as 877 candidates had reported for counselling.

On close of counselling today, all seats in the SM, TC and Malabar quotas for MBBS/BDS courses have been filled up, with only a few reservation seats left for these courses. The SM seats for BV.Sc. &AH course have also been filled up.

In the payment seats for the MBBS course, admissions have been given for the Amritha Institute of Medical Sciences and for the Pariyaram Medical College.

As and when the Government notifies new colleges/courses, the CEE will notify the same and will invite fresh option lists from the students. Therefore, candidates can submit their higher order option till August 30. However, candidates who do not wish admission for new courses/colleges, can submit their option earlier.

On the second day of counselling on August 13, candidates with ranks 1001 to 2500 will be considered for counselling.
