C-DAC lab to use Linux on IBM platform

BANGALORE: The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has announced that it is developing a world-class national high performance computing laboratory here, using Linux-ready platforms from IBM for developing applications and research in e-governance, life sciences, seismic analysis and weather forecasting. The lab is scheduled for commissioning at C-DAC's Knowledge Park in Bangalore by the end of this year.
