Train 691 Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil special will leave Egmore at 10 p.m on August 14 (Wednesday) and reach Nagercoil at 1.30 p.m, the next day. In the return direction train 692 will leave Nagercoil at 3.30 p.m on August. 17 (Saturday) and arrive Egmore at 6.30 a.m the next day. It will have one AC three tier, 10 sleeper, two general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van coaches. Train 663 Nagercoil-Coimbatore special will leave Nagercoil at 8.30 p.m on August 15 (Thursday) and reach Coimbatore at 7.30 a.m, the next day. In the return direction train 664 will leave Coimbatore at 11.30 p.m on August 17 and reach Nagercoil at 12.30 p.m the next day. It will go via Tirunelveli, Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, and Erode. In connection with the annual `Kandoori' festival at Nagore and Velankanni festival at Nagapattinam, train 891 Tambaram-Nagore special will leave Tambaram at 8.30 p.m on August 16, 18, 20 and 22 and reach Nagroe at 7.15 a.m the next day. In the return direction, train 892 will leave Nagore at 10 p.m on August 17, 19, 21 and 23 and arrive Tambaram at 9.30 a.m. In addition to the above specials, passenger trains running in the section will be augmented with more general second class coaches from August 16 to 23. The Tiruvarur-Thanjavur passengers will run up to Nagore on both directions from August 16 to 23, according to a Southern Railway release.
