Sir, ``Gutka ban'' is the latest issue to have gripped the "moral brigade". Does banning a product stop hardcore users from obtaining their habitual "intoxicant"? Bootleggers and black marketeers have become overnight millionaires whenever a "total ban" of addictive products has been imposed. "Consumer is king" proves true even for addictive health products, for, ultimately the user has to realise that excess of any food or physical vice is bad for health. Rudolph. A. Furtado, Mumbai
