The Kuwait Airways Sales Manager-Passenger, Tamil Nadu, Shyam Prasad Kallat, said the airline was now operating four Airbus-310 flights a week to Kuwait with onward connections to Europe and the United States. These is in addition to tri-weekly services to Kochi, four flights out of Thiruvananthapuram and a daily service out of Mumbai and New Delhi. Senior officials of Air India, ground handler for the Kuwait Airways in Chennai, and Ramesh Pillai, manager-cargo, Mukund Murthy, airport manager of the airline, participated.
