Two new variants from Kinetic

CHENNAI JULY 11. Kinetic Engineering has set an annual sales target of 1.35 lakh of scooters and 50,000 scooterettes during the current year. The company also hopes to double its turnover to Rs. 2,000 crores during 2003.

Launching two new variants here today, the company's Joint Managing Director, Sulajja Firodia Motwani, said Kinetic was introducing a four-stroke scooter — Kinetic Nova and a new youth mobike — Kinetic Zing. She said the new Nova 115cc was a creation of U/E/N — the internationally acclaimed designed house and was a blend of international styling and performance with 60 kmpl on road. The ex-showroom price of Nova would be Rs.35,845 in Tamil Nadu. The 65cc Kinetic Zing with auto-start and auto-gears had been introduced in five trendy colours. The Zing's ex-showroom price would be Rs. 22,999 in Tamil Nadu.
