BSF plane makes emergency landing

NEW DELHI JUNE 14. An aircraft carrying personnel of the Border Security Force made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here today.

The landing took place at 3.25 p.m. after the plane, coming in from Guwahati via Patna, informed Air Traffic Control here that it had developed a snag in its hydraulic brake system.

Emergency systems at the airport were immediately put on alert and the plane was made to land in the Palam Technical Area.

Officials said the landing was proper and all 41 aboard were safe.
