JERUSALEM, JUNE 5 A suicide bomber struck northern Israel during the morning rush hour today exploding a car packed with explosives near a bus killing 18 Israelis and injuring 36 others, dealing a blow to the latest U.S. efforts to push for peace in the region.
The blast, described by police as a ``very large explosion'', occurred at Megiddo junction near the city of Haifa around 7:15 a.m killing 18 Israelis and injuring 36 others, 10 of them seriously.
