Advts: Classifieds | Employment | Obituary | National
The special judge, Prem Kumar, allowed the request of the Central Bureau of Investigation for further time after the special prosecutor submitted that ``the matter regarding declassification of the documents is being examined in consultation with the Army authorities and necessary response either in the form of declassification or filing of affidavit would be possible by May 13.'' The court has posted the matter for hearing on Monday. Last month, on a direction from the Government, the CBI had requested time till May 5 from the court which had asked the agency to procure affidavits from the Heads of Departments which wanted to claim privilege over the documents. In an application filed in the court, the Europe-based Hinduja brothers Srichand, Gopichand and Prakashchand had sought production of seven documents which the CBI described as classified ones. PTI
