Honour for Satchidananda

NEW YORK: Sri Chinmoy, on Wednesday, honoured the 87-year-old Swami Satchidananda of Tamil Nadu for his decades of spiritual service by presenting him with the prestigious U-Thant Peace Award. The signal recognition was offered on behalf of The Peace Meditation at the United Nations which Sri Chinmoy has led for the past 32 years.
