``The gurdwara continues to operate in Salwa (Kuwait) and hundreds of Sikhs go there for prayers and ceremonies,'' Khaled Al Razni, Director of Kuwait Embassy Information Centre told the delegation. The five-member Sikh delegation of the United Akali Dal presented a memorandum to the Embassy to lodge its protest against the reported closure of the gurdwara. Mr Razni denied reports that the Kuwaiti authorities had asked the managing committee to shut down the gurdwara to protest against the Gujarat violence. ``This is totally untrue and fabricated''. UNI
