Sanskriti Awards

NEW DELHI MARCH 26. The Sanskriti Awards-2000 would be presented to Bodhisattva for Literature, M.L. Narasimha Reddy for Journalism, Shakila for Art, Heisnam Tomba for Theatre and Kutch Mahila Vikas Sangathan for Social Achievement at a ceremony in India International Centre here on April 5.

The awards, which are into their 20th year now, are presented to young talents in the age-group of 20-35 years for their works in the fields of literature, journalism, art, performing arts, and social and cultural achievement.

Announcing the names of the winners, the chairman of the Awards Committee of Sanskriti Pratishthan, Ashok Vajpeyi, said each award carries a cash component of Rs. 20,000 and a citation plaque.
