NEW DELHI, MARCH 17. Air Marshal Manjit Singh Sekhon, who had reportedly sought political favours to promote his career, is likely to find his continuation in the Indian Air Force (IAF) untenable, defence sources here said. According to the sources, the Government has decided that he should no longer stay in the IAF. ``Once this decision is made, the rest is a matter of administrative detail.'' The Government could exercise the option of compulsorily retiring him, removing him from service or dismissing him, in case he does not voluntarily ``put in his papers.''
