As an interim direction, she sought to restrain the police from arresting her or her relatives. The Judge asked the police not to make any arrest till March 4.
Karunanidhi condemns
In a statement, the DMK president, M. Karunanidhi, has criticised the alleged police harassment of family members of Mr. Sivasubramaniam and the police threat to reporters who went to his house for collecting information. The police action, he said, amounted to violation of human rights and infringement on press freedom.
