Romilla Thapar to speak

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, FEB. 22. Romilla Thapar, renowned histirian, is to participate in a one-day national seminar titled `In Defence of History' to be held here on March 2. The seminar, being organised by the Social Science Forum, would also feature the Frontline Editor, N. Ram, K. N. Raj, K. N. Panikkar, Champakalakshmi, Abu Abraham, Chandan Mukherjee, Rajan Gurukkal, M. R. Raghava Warrier and Kesavan Veluthat. Those who wish to be delegates may register with the General Convener, `In Defence of History' National Convention, 39/62, Sudarshan Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram-14, paying a fee of Rs. 100.
