`Most promising junior' award presented to Rastogi

CHENNAI, JAN. 5. Daikin, the official air-conditioner of the 2002 Tata Open, presented the ``most promising junior'' award to Karan Rastogi, Indian's number one junior player, in a special ceremony at the SDAT-Nungambakkam Stadium here on Saturday. Rastogi, who is currently ranked 87 in the ITF junior circuit, is the only Asian in the top 100 and fourth in the world in his age group.

``Daikin is pleased to present the most promising junior award to Karan Rastogi, who at 15 years of age, has already done India proud with his accomplishments,'' said Mr. Nakamoto, Managing Director of Daikin India. ``I would like to thank Daikin for this honour and hope to live up to all the expectations,'' said Rastogi.
