Rajani Rai flags off rally

PONDICHERRY, NOV. 30. The Lt. Governor, Dr. Rajani Rai, today flagged off a rally by students of various schools near the Rajnivas on Friday to focus the importance of immunisation of children against pulse polio special camp slated for December 2 here.

Dr. R. Padmanabhan, Principal Secretary to the Health Department, Dr. D. Thamma Rao, Director of Health and Family Welfare Services, Dr. C.M. Reddy, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, and a host of officials and activists of Rotary Clubs were present.

The Lt. Governor sported a special apron and cap brought out on the occasion.
