Cycling: Rameshwori wins fifth gold
LUDHIANA, NOV. 24. Manipur's Rameshwori Devi took her fifth gold
in the cycling competition, winning the 50km mass start for women
at the Toraha-Khanna National Highway here on Saturday.
Rameshwori won the rise in 1:38:00.10 minute leaving Gangu G.
Biradar (Kar) and her Statemate W. Bemcha Devi to share the
silver medal.
In the men's 70km team time trial event, Services, comprising
Dharmender Singh, Jorawar Singh, Paramjeet Singh and Sandeep
Malik, won the gold. They took 1:34:54.65 to complete the rise.
Punjab (1:37:02.55) and Rajasthan (1:39:06.82) won the silver and
bronze respectively.
