Suggestions invited on hawking zone draft

CHENNAI, NOV. 24. The Chennai Corporation has invited the public to give its opinion on the draft scheme on hawking zone prepared by the committee headed by Mr. Justice A. Abdul Hadi.

Members of the public can obtain the draft scheme from the Assistant Law Officer at the Ripon Buildings on payment of Rs. 100 by way of demand draft drawn from any national bank in favour of the Revenue Officer, Corporation of Chennai.

All suggestions and objections to the hawking zones have to be made to the Chairman, Hawking Zone Committee, at the Assistant Law Officer's office within 15 days, according to a release.
