Shah to be acting CM in J&K

JAMMU, NOV. 12. The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, has directed that in his absence, the Housing and Urban Development Minister, Mr. Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Shah, would preside over the meetings of the State Cabinet.

The Chief Minister has also directed that during his absence, the cases of the Departments falling under his charge shall be disposed off by Mr. Shah, an official release said here today. Unofficial sources said Dr. Abdullah has gone to London and is expected to return by the end of this week.
