Hyundai Motor sales up

Hyundai Motor India reported a 5 per cent rise in sales at 7,734 cars in October against 7,361 cars sold in the same month last year. Sales also increased by 14 per cent as compared to 6,781 cars sold in September this year, a company statement said.

In the first seven months (April-October) of this fiscal, Hyundai sold 53,568 cars, a rise of 4.6 per cent as against 51,208 cars sold in the year-ago period. Total sales during January-October 2001 stood at 79,472 cars, up 5 per cent over the same period last year.
