Ex-PM's case: SC unhappy

By Our Legal Correspondent

NEW DELHI, OCT. 30. While granting time to the former Prime Minister, Mr. Chandra Shekhar to file his affidavit - in the case relating to the taker over of the lands allotted to his Bhondsi ashram in Haryana - the Supreme Court today expressed unhappiness at the manner in which he ``indulged in something not justifiable or legal''.

When Mr. Kapil Sibal, senior counsel for Mr. Chandra Shekhar, told a Bench that the affidavit on behalf of his client was not properly drafted and that some more time was required to file a proper one, the Bench said ``we are also not happy that we are required to deal with the ex-Prime Minister, who is indulging in something not justifiable or legal''.
