PM to meet Bush
By Atul Aneja
NEW DELHI, OCT. 30. The Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee,
is expected to spend over two days in Washington before arriving
in New York to address the U.N. General Assembly.
Government sources said the Prime Minister would arrive in
Washington from Moscow on the afternoon of November 7. He will
depart for New York on the evening of November 9.
Mr. Vajpayee will conclude his New York visit on November 11 and
head for London. After spending November 12 in the British
capital, he will depart for India the next day.
The Prime Minister's rather ``longish'' stay in Washington will
enable him to meet the U.S. President, Mr. George Bush, and a
variety of political personalities on Capitol Hill. He is also
expected to spend time with the Indian community.
