Ajit Pal Singh bags bronze
NEW DELHI, OCT. 24 India's Ajit Pal Singh won the bronze medal in
light welter weight category at the inaugural World boxing (sub-
junior) cadet championship held at Baku in Azerbaijan. Dalip
Kumar Pouri (45 kg welter weight) and Balbir Singh (48 kg) also
put up a commendable performance and made it to the quarterfinals
of the event held from October 13 to 21, an Indian Amateur Boxing
Federation press release said here.
