Humpy in sole lead

HYDERABAD, OCT. 24. Woman Grandmaster Koneru Humpy dished out a brilliant performance to outwit GM Sahovic Dragutin in just 27 moves in the fourth round game to continue to be the sole leader with 3.5 points in the third Saturday Grandmasters chess tournament being held in Belgrade, according to information received here today.

Playing black, the World junior champion employed the Queen's Indian Defence and the game went on normal lines until Humpy surprised the opponent with a novelty on 11th move - c5.

After the fourth round, Humpy is leading with 3.5 points.

lOther results: 4th round: Rodorov drew with Popcev; Boskovic drew with Lopez Martinez; Papmisa lost to Kosanovic; Nestorovic lost to Orlov.
