Fernandes calls on Narayanan
NEW DELHI, OCT. 24. The Defence Minister, Mr. George Fernandes,
today called on the President, Mr. K.R. Narayanan, at the
Rashtrapati Bhavan here.
The 30-minute meeting which was described as a courtesy call was
the first by Mr. Fernandes after his re-induction into the Union
Cabinet.
He had resigned from the Cabinet in March in the wake of the
Tehelka expose.
