Another suspected 'anthrax cover' received

HYDERABAD, OCT. 22. Yet another cover, suspected to contain anthrax, arrived in the twin cities on Monday which was reportedly posted from New Jersey to a private firm managing director, Mr. Anjaiah, under Begumpet police station limits.

Mr. Anjaiah confirmed with his company clients and other persons known to him based in New Jersey that none of them posted any envelope. He lodged a complaint with the police.

The City Police Commissioner, Mr. P. Ramulu, said that the cover would be sent to the Institute of Communicable Diseases, New Delhi, for analysis. He said that the analysis reports of the covers sent earlier would be available in a day or two.

The Chief Post Master General, Mr. Dayal, said that no reports of covers, suspected to contain anthrax, were received from any part of the State on Sunday and Monday.
