India in two finals
CHENNAI, OCT. 20 India will take on France in the men's opening
tie of the World bridge championship for the Bermuda Bowl
commencing on October 22 in Paris.
Eighteen teams are participating. They are - Argentina,
Australia, Brazil, Egypt, France, Guadeloupe, Hong Kong,
Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, India, New Zealand, Norway,
Poland, Russia, USA 1 and USA 2.
In the women's championship for the Venice Cup, India meets
Germany in the opening encounter. Australia, Austria, Brazil,
Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Indonesia, Israel,
Italy, Japan, Netherlands, South Africa, USA 1, USA 3, India and
Venezuela are the competing sides.
