Satyam's mobile computing solutions

HYDERABAD, OCT. 5. Satyam Computer Services has announced the launch of e-Valuate, mobile insurance, and loan recovery solution, its Pocket PC 2002 based state-of-the-art mobile computing solutions for enterprises.

The announcement was made in conjunction with the launch of Microsoft windows-powered pocket PC 2002 yesterday in the U.S.

A press release issued here on Friday said e-Valuate was based completely on the Microsoft .NET framework, and integrates windows-powered pocket PC 2002 devices with Microsoft's new mobile information 2001 server, a member of the Microsoft .NET server family, to manage personalisation and network access for field personnel. Satyam is a Microsoft Pocket PC 2002 launch partner.

Satyam also showcased two other new applications, Mobile Insurance - an open standards based claims management solution fully integrated with the Pocket PC 2002 platform, and Loan Recovery Solution (LRS) - a solution that aids financial institutions recover loans online.
