Blair arrives

NEW DELHI, OCT. 5. The British Prime Minister, Mr. Tony Blair,
arrived here tonight from Pakistan on a 12-hour working visit for
consultations with the Prime Minister, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee.
Mr. Blair, who flew in here by a special aircraft of the Royal
Air Force, was received at the airport by the Minister of State
for Culture, Ms. Maneka Gandhi, the British High Commissioner to
India, Mr. Rob Young, the Indian Deputy High Commissioner to
Britain, Mr. Hardeep Puri, the Foreign Secretary, Ms. Chokila
Iyer, and other senior officials.
