Kinetic plans 125cc motorcycle with Korean Technology

CHENNAI, SEPT. 30. Kinetic Motor Company will be introducing
125cc motorcycle based on Korean technology, Hyosung. It will
also be introducing 150cc range motorcycles in three months and
another variant based on indigenous technology by the end of the
current accounting period, according to Ms. Sulajja Firodia
Motwani, Joint Managing Director. She was here recently in
connection with the launch of fuel-efficient 110cc scooter, Zx-
Zoom, and opening of an authorised dealer showroom `Kinetic Motor
Plaza' in Anna Nagar. The new variant, GF125 is fitted with four
valve engine. This would be the first self-start motorcycle,
claimed Mr. Ajay Kapila, Senior vice-president (sales and
marketing). This model would be formally launched all over India
next month.
The company's Challenger motorcycle had a market share of 5 per
cent. It expects to achieve a 15 per cent in motorcycles by the
end of the current accounting period by selling about 75,000
units of all variants.
