VHP launches 'jalabhishek'
NEW DELHI, SEPT. 17. Amid chanting of `mantras', the Vishwa Hindu
Parishad today launched its nation-wide `jalabhishek' programme
in the run up to the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya which
is scheduled to begin after the Mahashivratri on March 12.
The programme, comprising Lord Shiva's worship by offering of
holy waters, was performed at the Gauri Shankar temple in Chandni
Chowk under the aegis of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Nirman Jap
Yagna Samiti.
