Leaders pay homage to Annadurai

CHENNAI, SEPT. 15. The birth anniversary of the late C.N. Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, was celebrated all over the State today.

The Chief Minister, Ms. Jayalalithaa, led her party workers in garlanding the statue of Annadurai at the Walajah Road junction.

Leading the DMK cadres was the former Chief Minister, Mr. M. Karunanidhi, who offered floral tributes to the statue of the late Dravidian leader at Valluvar Kottam. The Union Minister, Mr. Murasoli Maran, was among the others who garlanded the statue.

Other Dravidian party leaders, including Mr. S. Thirunavukkarasu of MGR ADMK and Mr. R.M. Veerappan of MGR Kazhagam, also paid homage to Annadurai.
