Lecturer arrested

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, SEPT. 9. Mr. P. I. Paul, a lecturer of Zoology at the Mar Ivanios College against whom the Peroorkada police had registered a case of simple hurt for assaulting his Head of the Department, was arrested this afternoon and later released on bail.

The head of the department of Zoology at the College, Mr. T. V. George, had in a written complaint to the police on September 6, said that Mr. Paul had assaulted him after the latter was asked why he had not gone to class for his scheduled session that morning.
